Marc Stomprud - Candidate for Head of School
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Many years ago, I served as an 8th grade Bible teacher and basketball and baseball coach. I thought about how much time I got to spend directly with students and I was thankful for the opportunity to point them to Jesus. In the years since, I have served as a school Chaplain, Student Life Director, Lower School Principal, Upper School Principal, and Assistant Head of School. I also completed a training/mentoring for Heads of Christian schools called Leadership U. Additionally, last year, I graduated from LifeWork Leadership, a Christian leadership program here in Orlando.
CALLING/VISION
Over the years, I have had the honor of serving with some amazing leaders. I believe all of these experiences have prepared me for this moment at Central Florida Christian Academy. I have a vision for CFCA that we will be a people who have an unwavering faith in Jesus, an unwavering love for others, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
FAMILY/FUN
Together, my wife, Carrie, and I have 5 teenage children (two boys and three girls). We have a fun, busy household. Carrie is the Executive Director of Serve Orlando, a ministry that organizes mission trips and service opportunities in the Orlando area. As a family, we love cheering for the Auburn Tigers and Oklahoma Sooners football team, watching beautiful sunsets, and taking our dog for walks around the neighborhood.
