Pastor Shawn and his family arrived at CATC in July 2023 and have been thoroughly enjoying learning and exploring everything Central Florida has to offer, especially the Brazilian food!!!
Pastor Shawn grew up in a pastor’s home, but it wasn't until his teenage years that he recognized his need to have Jesus at the center of his life. Shortly after his salvation experience, God called him into full-time ministry, and he has been serving in that capacity since the week after he graduated from high school.
Shawn met his wife, Laura Ashley, while serving at a church in Texas, and they married in 2015. They have two incredible and adventurous boys.
Pastor Shawn’s ministry experience has focused on preaching, leadership, and evangelism. He is hard-wired to strive to grow the Kingdom through the local Church while loving and leading Christians to deepen their relationship with the Lord. He often says, “Christians are called to be fishers of men, not merely keepers of the aquarium.”
Pastor Shawn loves spending time with his family, preferably outdoors. He enjoys being on boats, working out, and he is also an avid rugby fan and a former player who is always eager to talk about it, so watch out!
