Church at the Cross offers FREE English classes for non-native speakers who want to improve their English skills.
Just register below and attend the classes in A Building - Room A220/223.

Meet the team.

Marjorie Bellamy

English Teacher
  • Experienced ESL Educator with 19 years of teaching English as a Second Language to students from diverse countries, including Korea, Japan, Thailand, Brazil, and Colombia
  • Versatile Teaching Background, with experience teaching all proficiency levels—from beginners to advanced learners
  • Upper School & Elementary Teaching Experience, having taught upper school students for several years and currently teaching 5th grade
  • Current Position: Educator at Central Florida Christian Academy (CFCA) for the past 2 years
  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, Major in English
    • TESOL Certified
    • Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Education at the University of Central Florida (UCF), with a focus on Reading and ESOL Endorsement
  • Multilingual: Fluent in both Tagalog and English
  • Culturally Responsive and committed to creating inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environments for all students

Taught 36 years.  (A variety of grades and subjects) 26 of those years were as an ESOL (ESL) teacher.   Certified by the following:
  • State of Florida through Osceola County Schools and The Florida Baptist Convention.
  • Bachelor of Science in Education through Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana.
  • Certificate of Bible through New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson, Michigan.
  • Teaching ESOL at CATC Orlando since 2018.
